We are passionate about creating an authentic worship experience that honors God and leads people into His presence. We are seeking a dynamic and spiritually mature Worship Pastor to join our team and lead our congregation in heartfelt worship.

Overview

The Worship Pastor will provide visionary leadership for all aspects of worship at Soul Revival Church. This individual will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading engaging and Christ-centered worship services that reflect the diversity of our congregation and align with our church's vision and values. They will develop and lead worship teams, foster a culture of worship within the church, and work collaboratively with the Lead Pastors and other ministry leaders.

Responsibilities:

Worship Leadership:

• Plan, coordinate, and lead weekly worship services, special events, and seasonal services.
• Select and arrange music that is theologically sound and relevant to the congregation.
• Lead worship from the stage with musical proficiency and spiritual authenticity.
• Integrate creative elements in partnership with our Tech Team (e.g., visual arts, drama, multimedia) into worship services.

Team Development: 

• Recruit, train, and develop worship team members (musicians & vocalists).
• Provide spiritual and musical mentorship to team members.
• Schedule and manage worship team rehearsals and services.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Technical Oversight: 

• Maintain and manage worship equipment.
• Train and equip volunteers in technical roles.

Collaboration and Communication: 

• Work closely with the Lead Pastors to plan worship services that align with sermon themes.
• Collaborate with other ministry leaders to integrate worship into church-wide events.
• Communicate effectively with the congregation regarding worship-related information.
• Participate in staff meetings.

Spiritual Growth:

• Maintain a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Lead the congregation in worship that honors God and facilitates spiritual connection.
• Foster a culture of worship that extends beyond Sunday services.

Qualifications:

• A passionate and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• A strong understanding of biblical worship principles.
• Proven experience in leading worship in a church setting.
• Proficiency in vocal and instrumental music (preferably guitar or keyboard).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to recruit, train, and develop worship teams.
• Familiarity with sound, lighting, and multimedia technology (Valued but not required).
