Bilingual Production Supervisor- 2nd shift

We are seeking a competent Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing manufacturing strategies, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring production quality and quantity.

The Manufacturing Supervisor’s responsibilities include ensuring machines are in good working condition, coordinating the production schedule, managing operational costs, and ensuring workplace safety. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the manufacturing process, excellent leadership skills, and is committed to meeting our operational and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise manufacturing staff and manage production schedules
• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations
• Ensure that production meets quality standards
• Optimize resource utilization and improve manufacturing processes
• Monitor production costs and implement cost-reduction strategies
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of machines to avoid downtime
• Prepare and maintain production reports
• Identify training needs and provide coaching and guidance to the team
• Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or similar role
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Excellent knowledge of production management and quality standards
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions effectively
• Must be Bilingual English/Spanish
• Degree in Business Management, Engineering or relevant field
