Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care has been partnering with Nurses for more than 40 years. We’re now seeking Director of Nursing RNs for openings at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Horseheads, New York. Our goal is to help open a range of options for all healthcare professionals working with us so they can choose the assignments that fit their goals and lifestyle best.

Director of Nursing RN Contract Details:

• $2,100 – $2,286 per week*
• AM shift available
• 8-week contract with possibility to extend
• DON will be responsible for Directing the nursing program, including implementing new policies and procedures when necessary
• Overseeing hiring, firing, and development of nursing staff
• Communicating with families, residents, and physicians as needed
• Developing a business plan and budget for the nursing unit
• Participating in creating resident care plans and ensuring they are followed
• Ensuring the nursing unit is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements:

• Current New York RN License
• American Heart Association BLS
• 1 to 2 years of recent relevant experience
