Description: We are seeking a Summer Intern for our software team with a passion for learning about machine control, testing, and programming methodologies. The successful candidate will learn about the Argo instrument operation, write and maintain software-based tests using Git, validate test performance, and record results to a cloud database. Responsibilities : Understand the testing architecture and specific hardware tests involved. Work with the team to communicate test results effectively. Record findings in Jira. Maintain software tests in C# or Python. Perform tests on the physical Argo instruments. Required Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Programming experience in Java or C# is required. Programming experience in Python is a plus. Experience with the Git source control system is required. Experience with Jira is recommended. Experience in robotics or control systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills. Experience with Excel and other MS Office Must be self-motivated with a positive "can do" attitude and demonstrate project management skills. Strong communication skills to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
