Senior SEO Specialist, Remote Location: Remote (Pittsburgh, PA)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 / year (Depending on experience & location)

About the Role As a SEO Specialist, you’ll be responsible for optimizing website performance, improving search rankings, and driving organic traffic growth. This role will be responsible for both website build and support projects as well as ongoing SEO strategy and optimization. You will work closely with team members, as well as, external stakeholders. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer satisfaction and creating positive organic trends for your clients.
What You’ll Do - Website build + support projects
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Perform comprehensive initial audits of technical and content SEO and collaborate with PM to develop strategic direction
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify priority areas for improvement on project onset
- Help optimize site architecture and url structure with SEO best practices
- Conduct initial keyword research and collaborate with copywriter to ensure website copy is SEO-optimized
- Collaborate with development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed projects
- Communicate with developers on implementing changes based on data provided by SEO tools
- Ensure post-launch technical SEO success with robust redirect strategy
- General SEO support
- Leverage SEO tools to substantiate research processes and develop strategic recommendations
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links
- Actively maintain HUEMOR's link building strategy
- Collaborate with copywriters to strategize and optimize guest post content
- Provide ongoing SEO guidance and support to clients as needed
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, technologies
What We’re Looking For Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of experience in onsite and technical SEO
- Proficiency in SEM Rush, Ahrefs, Surfer SEO, Moz, Screaming Frog
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Nice-to-Haves (Preferred, but not required):
- Experience with Google Console
- A bachelor's degree in marketing in relevant field
- Experience with managing teams and working at an agency
