We're seeking a Senior Python Developer with 8+ years of experience in building scalable, secure data platforms and infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on developing consent and permission systems using AWS , Python , Snowflake , and CI/CD tools. Ideal candidates bring strong expertise in automation, infrastructure as code, and Agile methodologies, along with a passion for clean, secure, high-quality code.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient Consent and Permission systems.
Contribute to the technical roadmap and actively address technical debt while balancing time, quality, and resource constraints.
Collaborate closely with product managers, software architects, UX designers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop technical solutions aligned with business goals.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and key metrics.
Lead Agile-based planning and execution of software development releases.
Encourage and support collaboration through open/inner source development practices.
Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
Continuously enhance development processes, methodologies, and engineering practices.
Uphold secure coding standards and technical excellence to drive elegant, low-complexity solutions.
Perform regular audits and reviews of SDLC processes to identify and implement improvements.
Provide hands-on technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineering team members.
Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and quality across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly with data platforms, infrastructure, or distributed systems.
Demonstrated expertise in data integration and process automation.
In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda , API Gateway, SQS, IAM, and others.
Strong proficiency in Python .
Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins , GitLab CI , or CircleCI .
Proficient in infrastructure as code ( IaC ) using Terraform , CloudFormation , or the Serverless Framework.
Hands-on experience implementing and managing Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
Proven ability to design and implement secure, scalable data solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex technical challenges.
Effective team collaboration and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Strong commitment to code quality, including adherence to best practices and standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Java or Go .
Experience collaborating with third-party vendors.
Exposure to tools and platforms like Apigee, Airflow, Fivetran, Splunk, or Astronomer.
