Senior Designer

We’re looking for an experienced design expert to oversee and execute client-facing design initiatives. This individual will play a key role in delivering high-quality, timely design solutions for major accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Lead the full cycle of design projects, from concept through execution, for high-value clients
• Work closely with design leads and the sales team to determine project assignments and direction
• Use creative judgment to deliver on-the-spot design presentations for customers
• Generate and route client estimates for internal processing
• Represent the organization in competitive project pitches and presentations
• Keep thorough project records, including important decisions and client feedback or changes
• Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients and internal teams throughout each phase
• Contribute to strategic initiatives to attract new business
• Partner with sales and operations teams to support planning and pipeline management
• Assist with the operational side of projects including ordering, scheduling, and installation oversight
• Manage final walkthroughs and ensure all project components are completed accurately and on time
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in the contract furniture or commercial interiors industry
• Skilled in CET Designer, AutoCAD, Project Spec, or similar tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent at handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines
• Familiar with construction drawings and detailing methods
• Able to deliver strong visual and verbal presentations
• Discreet, diplomatic, and adept at managing sensitive information
• A clear communicator who can interact effectively at all organizational levels
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to operate independently
• Willing to work flexible hours and travel as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• NCIDQ Certification or ASID Membership
• Experience in project management
• Background working with architecture and design firms
