Job Description

As a Research and Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying key opportunities across African industries, markets, and government partnerships. Your insights and findings will shape TVOAs events, partnerships, and strategies, enabling us to connect with global organizations and foster economic growth in Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opportunity Identification: Research emerging industries, trends, and opportunities in Africa, including energy, agriculture, technology, infrastructure, and more.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from credible sources (e.g., government reports, industry publications, think tanks) to identify impactful initiatives for TVOA.
• Proposal Development: Work with the team to develop research-backed proposals and presentations for potential partners, sponsors, and stakeholders.
• Partnership Support: Identify organizations, forums, and networks where TVOA can build meaningful collaborations.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on global and African market trends, including public-private partnership (PPP) opportunities and government initiatives.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from data.
• A deep interest in Africas economic development and global business trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Proficiency in using research tools, databases, and platforms such as Bloomberg Africa, UNCTAD, and AfDB reports is a plus.
