***This position is ONSITE 5 days/week near Hoboken NJ*** COMMUTABLE FROM NYC!

Robert Half's retail client is seeking a talented Jr. Packaging Graphic Designer to join their fast-paced and creative team. They're looking for someone who is highly motivated, thrives under pressure, and has a passion for smart, trend-forward design. You’ll be responsible for designing compelling, shelf-ready packaging for both our brands and private labels, while also ensuring consistency within client-specific style guides.

***Open to entry-level candidates with a strong portfolio***

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, design, and execute trendy, eye-catching packaging for glasswares , ceramics , and textiles
• Create detailed product renderings and dielines using Adobe Illustrator
• Build mockups and prepare factory-ready final art files for production
• Maintain a strong sense of visual storytelling including layout, composition, typography, and color usage
• Follow and maintain client branding and style guidelines with consistency
• Collaborate with the Art Director, Project Managers, and fellow creatives throughout the design process
• Create physical prototypes/mockups for in-house reviews and client presentations
• Manage multiple projects efficiently and meet tight deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• 1–5 years of experience in packaging design (paper boxes, blister cards, etc.)
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Mac-based) : Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience with Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint, is a plus
• Knowledge of creating print-ready files for production and manufacturing

Preferred Attributes:

• Prior experience with packaging design
• Skilled in creating physical mockups and prototypes
• Familiarity with packaging trends in the housewares or retail industry
