Salary: starting at $25.50/hr

Are you ready to kick-start yourcareer in the plumbing industry? At Williams, you will receive comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and mentorship from our experienced plumbing professionals.

What You'll Do:

You'll start your journey with Williams by working in our warehouse for up to 3 months, followed by up to 3 months in our prefabrication shop. This unique onboarding and training opportunity will prepare you for a rewarding career in the field, where you will contribute to our exciting new construction plumbing projects. Our program is designed to help you become a skilled and knowledgeable plumber while supporting your growth in the trade.

Warehouse (Stage 1: up to 3 months):

• Assist with receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders
• Sort materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
• Ensure warehouse is accessible, orderly, and safe
• Learn about plumbing materials, tools, and safety procedures

Prefabrication (Stage 2: up to 3 months):

• Collaborate with our experienced team in assembling prefabricated plumbing components
• Assist in cutting, fitting, and welding pipes to create custom plumbing solutions
• Gain valuable skills in blueprint reading and plumbing system design
• Focus on quality control and adherence to plumbing standards

Field: (after completion of Stages 1 & 2):

• Work alongside skilled plumbers on new construction plumbing projects
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site
• Continuously learn and develop your plumbing skills under the guidance of experienced mentors

Apprenticeship:

• The Williams Apprenticeship Program is an internal opportunity for our dedicated laborers to join
• The program is designed to transition you from your laborer role to a skilled and licensed plumber
