About The Role: As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all sales activities for the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth by targeting both group and individual business, ensuring that sales activities align with the Hotel's commercial objectives, and optimizing revenue across all business segments. What we expect: Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To: Sales Leadership & Strategy: Direct and oversee all sales activities, ensuring that group and individual bookings are focused on maximizing revenues. Execute and communicate sales strategies effectively. Team Management & Development: Lead and motivate a tenured sales team to meet individual and collective sales goals. Train and guide sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of set objectives. Revenue Maximization: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that group bookings and individual accounts are coordinated with transient demand to maximize revenue opportunities. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while achieving sales goals. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Forecast and report on group and catering contributions. Provide insights and updates on sales activities. Commercial Objectives & Goal Setting: Assist in developing the annual Commercial plan and work with the Commercial Director to establish clear sales goals. Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of the sales department, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Work closely with the Director of Revenue, Director of Catering and Commercial Director to manage space release and maximize revenue. Promote awareness to corporate, incentive and association markets via travel to respective regions in the country. Coordinate departmental sales trip and promotional expenses with the Commercial Director. Qualifications: Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in hotel sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team in a high-performance environment. Sales Expertise: A deep understanding of revenue management, market trends, and strategies to maximize hotel revenue. Results-Oriented: A proactive, solution-focused approach. Collaboration: Strong cross-departmental collaboration skills. Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field is preferred.
