Director of Product Management - Shape the Foundations of a New Global Network

We're looking for a brilliant Director of Product Management to be a foundational part of this journey, working shoulder-to-shoulder with product and engineering leaders.

Reporting directly to the VP of Product, you will be a highly influential leader, partnering closely to shape and execute the product strategy for core components of this revolutionary platform. • Co-Architect a Foundational Legacy: Partner with executive leadership to define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for critical elements of a platform set to redefine global networks. Your influence will shape the what and why of a technology impacting billions.
• Achieve Mastery at Maximum Velocity: Lead product management on the frontier of network infrastructure, identity, and security. Confront extreme ambiguity and complexity daily, mastering the art of product strategy in a space where the map is still being drawn.
• Build and Lead an Elite Product Force: Attract, mentor, and lead a cadre of high-caliber Product Managers capable of thriving in this intense, fast-paced environment. Build the product function alongside the VP.
• Wield Strategic Influence: Your insights and product direction will be critical at the leadership table, directly impacting company strategy, technical architecture, and market positioning alongside founders and engineering/design leaders.

Your Mandate: Drive Product at the Bleeding Edge

We need a product visionary obsessed with execution and undeterred by the scale of our mission. You will:

• Own & Drive Product Strategy: In close partnership with the VP Product, develop and champion a bold product strategy for significant areas of the Cortwo platform, translating audacious goals into actionable roadmaps.
• Build & Lead the Product Management Function: Recruit, manage, mentor, and inspire a team of technically adept, mission-driven Product Managers, establishing a culture of excellence, speed, and user obsession.
• Define "How" We Build: Implement and refine product management processes optimized for rapid iteration, deep technical collaboration, and navigating extreme uncertainty.
• Forge Unbreakable Alignment: Champion a cohesive product vision across Product Management, Design, and Engineering leadership, ensuring seamless execution against strategic priorities.
• Navigate Groundbreaking Decisions: Make critical product trade-offs, balancing cutting-edge technical possibilities, nascent user needs, and long-term strategic objectives in a constantly evolving landscape.
• Transform Ambiguity into Clarity: Provide clear direction, frameworks, and prioritization for your team, enabling them to execute effectively amidst unprecedented technical and market challenges.
• Master Strategic Prioritization: Own roadmap definition, ruthless prioritization, and resource allocation trade-offs for your product domains, ensuring focus on maximum impact.

What You Bring (The Profile of a Mission-Obsessed Innovator):

• Pure Drive for Innovation: Your primary motivator is building groundbreaking technology that solves fundamental problems. You are relentless in your pursuit of the bleeding edge.
• Proven Product Leadership: You have a significant track record (likely 10-15+ years in product with substantial leadership experience) building and leading PM teams that have shipped highly technical, complex, and ideally platform-level or infrastructure products.
• Strategic Acumen in Ambiguity: You excel at formulating product strategy, making high-stakes decisions, and creating frameworks for problems that have no precedent. First-principles thinking is your default.
• Deep Technical Fluency: You possess the technical depth (e.g., strong CS background or equivalent experience) to engage meaningfully with world-class engineers on complex systems, APIs, network protocols, and security concepts. This is non-negotiable.
• Inspirational Team Builder: You know how to attract, develop, and retain exceptional PM talent, fostering a resilient, high-performance culture focused on the mission.
• Unflappable Execution: You thrive under pressure, maintain focus amidst chaos, and have a demonstrated ability to drive execution and deliver results in hyper-growth, technically demanding environments.
• Exceptional Influence & Partnership: You communicate complex ideas with clarity and conviction, effectively influencing peers, inspiring your team, and partnering strategically with senior leadership (especially the VP Product).

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Scaled product teams focused on deep tech, infrastructure, security, or developer platforms.
• Direct experience with identity management (IAM), cryptography, or distributed systems.
• Successfully navigated the earliest stages of category creation for a novel technology.
• Experience in zero-to-one product development.
