Work assignments are located over a large geographic area of Missouri that will require travel and overnight stays during the workweek. Responsibilities - What you'll do Work Monday through Thursday (four 10-hour days per week) 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Complete skilled work assignments in multiple building trades: Carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, masonry, roofing, drywall, heating and cooling and all phases of concrete work. Perform material estimating and make material purchases, as needed. Perform manual work requiring heavy lifting, reaching, and bending. Occasionally operate a compact loader and/or skid steer. Qualifications - All you need for success To be successful in this position, a candidate will need the following skills: Must be able to travel and stay overnight during the work week, i.e. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. Compliance with random drug and alcohol testing required. Ability to understand and complete assignments received orally or by written orders from sketches, penciled layouts, or blueprints. Ability to operate a variety of hand/power tools. Possession of a valid vehicle operator's license. Ability to communicate effectively and work independently. Equivalent to those typically gained by: Four to six years of on-the-job training in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical trades. Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
