We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Sales Representative and Estimator with several years of experience in construction to consult and provide accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our project planning and execution process, ensuring that our bids are both competitive and profitable. This job will be Monday thru Friday and will require daily commuting to the office in South Burlington.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects.
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop accurate and comprehensive estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Preparation of bid proposals and presentations to clients.
• Monitor and analyze project costs throughout the construction process to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and methods to ensure accurate and relevant estimating practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience in construction estimating, preferably in both residential and commercial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
• Comfortable working in Google Workspace and CRM software (Hubspot).
• Problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A friendly demeanor.
• Driver’s License (Required)
