About the Role

As a Certified Medical Assistant / Registered Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in our medical practice. Your responsibilities will include:

• Rooming Patients: Collect essential information about patients’ medical histories and chief complaints.
• Telephone Interactions: Communicate with patients, families, and pharmacies to gather and maintain patient information.
• Administrative Tasks: Handle patient check-ins, scheduling, prior authorizations, and coordination of referrals.
• Office Procedures: Assist with various procedures under the direction of a provider, including medication administration and diagnostic testing.
• Patient Education: Provide written instructions and condition-specific education as directed by the provider.
• Point of Care Testing: Perform tests such as blood glucose and rapid strep tests.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Certifications:
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - AAH
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - AAMA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days - AHA
  • And more!
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $17.33 - $28.07 per hour , depending on your experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
