Position Summary:
We are actively hiring experienced Career Coaches to lead in-person career development workshops in Metro Detroit. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for workforce development, public speaking, and adult education. Coaches will be compensated based on the number of attendees per session , making it an ideal position for those with strong facilitation skills and a drive to engage local job seekers.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate in-person career readiness workshops (topics may include resume writing, job search strategy, interviewing, workplace etiquette, and more)
Engage attendees with high-energy, informative, and interactive instruction
Tailor content to meet the needs of diverse audiences (entry-level, career changers, re-entry populations, etc.)
Support participant success through one-on-one feedback during workshop hours
Collect feedback and attendance data for performance tracking
Represent Hired In Michigan professionally at training sites, career expos, and community events
Attend periodic strategy sessions with training leadership
Qualifications:
Prior experience in career coaching, workforce development, job training, education, or human resources
Exceptional public speaking and facilitation skills
Ability to simplify and explain complex job search topics to adult learners
Comfortable speaking in front of audiences of 10–50 attendees
Reliable transportation to travel to assigned workshop locations across Metro Detroit
Strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation:
Paid per attendee per workshop (average attendance ranges from 15–50 participants)
Bonus incentives for high attendance and participant satisfaction
Opportunities to increase earnings through additional training series and special events
