About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join its team. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to work with meaning and purpose, providing supervision, training, and support to individuals participating in a career pathways program. This role is pivotal in assisting program participants to achieve their individual career and training goals, ensuring job retention, and providing the necessary resources for career planning. The Career Coach will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders, including program participants, career navigators, and job site supervisors, to foster positive outcomes. Duties also include completing program documentation, promoting the company's brand, and acting as a liaison between program participants and the career navigator. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have a high school diploma or GED, with some college coursework in human services or a related area preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills are essential, as is proficiency in MS Office. The role requires a valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The ideal candidate will be a team player, demonstrate cooperation, and have a heart for service, with the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs. Responsibilities also include advocating for program participants' training needs and assisting them in accessing community resources to enhance their well-being and independence.
