Sulpizio Inc., a leading commercial and residential HVAC firm, is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of Sulpizio Inc.s financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Keep all financial records up-to-date, accurately logging all transactions, receipts, and expenditures.
• Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment to vendors, and send invoices while overseeing accounts receivable to ensure prompt collection.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual profit and loss statements, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Generate and present balance sheets for all company divisions, supporting financial planning and analysis.
• Administer weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations and employee records.
• Provide ongoing financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, supporting strategic decision-making for corporate growth.
• Identify, develop, and implement procedures that streamline financial operations, improving efficiency and productivity.
• Prepare end-of-year financial records and collaborate with the external accounting firm to complete annual audits and tax filings.

Bookkeeper Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
• Ability to identify financial discrepancies and propose solutions to improve processes.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
