Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Azure IoT DPS (Device Provisioning Service) Engineer to design, develop, and manage large-scale IoT solutions leveraging Azure IoT technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IoT architecture, cloud computing, and security best practices to ensure efficient device provisioning and management. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and optimize Azure IoT Device Provisioning Service (DPS) for scalable and secure IoT deployments. Develop and integrate Azure IoT Hub, IoT Edge, and other Azure cloud services into enterprise IoT solutions. Create and manage device provisioning workflows , including symmetric keys, X.509 certificates, and TPM-based authentication. Configure and implement enrollment groups, individual enrollments, and attestation mechanisms in DPS. Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline device provisioning, onboarding, and lifecycle management. Ensure security best practices for device connectivity, authentication, and data transmission. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IoT device registration, connectivity, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, cloud engineers, and cybersecurity teams. Monitor IoT infrastructure and implement performance optimizations and cost-efficient solutions . Stay updated with the latest developments in Azure IoT services and industry best practices . Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field . 3+ years of experience working with Azure IoT solutions, including Azure IoT Hub and DPS. Proficiency in C#, Python, or Node.js for IoT application development. Strong understanding of device provisioning mechanisms (symmetric key, X.509, TPM). Experience with Azure Functions, Event Hub, Stream Analytics, and Azure Digital Twins is a plus. Knowledge of IoT security principles , including authentication, encryption, and certificate management. Hands-on experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell, and Terraform for cloud automation. Familiarity with edge computing concepts and Azure IoT Edge module deployment. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Azure IoT Developer Specialty Certification (AZ-220) or equivalent. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture .
